Walter Elmer
"Teddy" Cryer was the son of
William B. Cryer & Lucinda Johnson Cryer, and
was born November 20, 1905. His wife was Leona Alva
Dewey Cryer, the author of
"Some Johnsons of Southern
Maryland." She was born March 11, 1913 in Purcelville, Loudoun
County, VA. In 1991 she was living in Hernando County, FLA. She was
the daughter of John and Narcissa Olivia (Birdsall)
Dewey. Walter died October 18, 1975 and is buried in Our
Lady's Chapel RCC, Medley's Neck, Maryland. I have since learned that Ms.
Cryer is also deceased.
