Mattingly Gibbons Johnson,
son of George Edward Johnson and Johanna
Long, was born April 3, 1887 and died November 10, 1973. He
married Catherine Elizabeth "Bessie" Drury. She was born November
10, 1897 and died May 16, 1956. They are both buried in St. Joseph
RCC Cemetery.
Gibbons Johnson was a car salesman for three generations of the Guy
family at Guy Chevrolet of Clements, Maryland. He devoted his full
time to his farm after his retirement.
