John T.
Johnson,
son
of John & Sarah (Drury) Johnson is something of a mystery. Ms. Cryer shows his birth date as 1839.
Alternative date could be 1822, see below. Ms. Cryer in her book notes
that there is a tombstone for him in the Old St. Joseph's RCC Cemetery
which lists his date of death as November 7, 1853 in the
31st year of
age." The tombstone is next to that of Uriah and in front of the one
for Joseph S. Johnson. Ms. Cryer's theory is that because tombstones
had to be shipped all the way from Baltimore during this period, she
believes that the tombstone was used even though the date was transposed.
Thus, perhaps John T. Johnson died in his 13th
year. Apparently he never married and no children
have been found for John T. Johnson. |
