Daniel Phillip or
"D.P." Johnson was
born
in October of 1866. The son of
Hillary E. & Ann Marie
(Thompson) Johnson. He married Mamie
Harden, the daughter of Thomas
Harden, on April 13, 1898 at St. Joseph's RCC. Daniel died in 1957.
Mamie, who was born on May 1878/79, died in 1961 and is buried at St.
Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Ms. Cryer notes that D.P. operated a
store and wharf in Leonardtown, Maryland. She also notes he played
the violin beautifully.
