Sophia
Johnson was born October 13, 1847 and died March 19, 1924. She is
buried at St. Joseph RCC Cemetery. She was the daughter of
Uriah & Clarissa (Sherkley) Johnson. She married William Lewis Johnson
Mattingly (b. March 17, 1845, d. Jun. 8, 1926) also buried at St. Joseph RCC Cemetery. William Lewis Johnson Mattingly was from Breton's
Neck.
Some
additional information on the children is that J. Frank Mattingly died
on February 23, 1887 and is buried at Old
St. Joseph RCC Cemetery. Henry J. Mattingly died on June 13,
1898 and is also buried at Old
St. Joseph RCC Cemetery. Elizabeth died in infancy and is also
buried at Old
St. Joseph.
Robert Paul Mattingly died November 9, 1884 and is buried at Old
St. Joseph.
