Joyce Anita Rigelman, daughter of Ben Rigelman  & Fitzella Marion Heins Rigelman, was born on March 31, 1928.  She married Clemons G. Nelson on June 26, 1954 in Stockholm, Wisconsin.  Clemons "Clem" G. Nelson was born November 12, 1927 and still lives in the Stockholm area.  He served in the US Army in the Korean war.  Clem and Joyce were dairy farmers.  They had no children.  Joyce died on January 18, 2000.  Here is Joyce's obituary:

STOCKHOLM - Joyce A. Nelson, age 71, Stockholm, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Pepin Manor in Pepin.

She was born March 31, 1928, in Red Wing to Ben and Fritzella (Heins) Rigelman. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1946 and was in the women's chorus for the productions of "The New Moon" and "Naughty Marietta" at the Sheldon Theatre.

She married Clemens G. Nelson June 26, 1954, in Stockholm. They farmed together in the Lund area for 45 years. A member of Sabylund Lutheran Church in Stockholm, she also belonged to the church women and Maiden Rock American Legion. She collected dolls and enjoyed ice skating and gardening.

She is survived by: her husband; and one brother, Marv (Delma) Rigelman of Red Wing. She was preceded in death by: one brother, Duane.

Funeral was Saturday, Jan. 22, at Sabylund Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lynne Rigg officiating. A spring burial will be in Sabylund Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bruce, Keven, Marty and Kollin Nelson, Karl Rigelman, Mike Meier, Bobby Stein and Greg Bauer.
