John Andrew Johnson was born in 1871 and died on July 6, 1951.  He was the son of Hillary E. & Ann Marie (Thompson) Johnson.  His tombstone in the New St. Joseph Cemetery lists him as the husband of Mary C. Mattingly.  They were married in 1901. Mary C. Mattingly Johnson is also buried in St. Joseph's and her tombstone lists here as being born in 1876 and dying in 1940. In 1910 John Andrew is listed as living on Parsons Mill Road.

[1] Beatrice is buried in the New St. Joseph's RCC Cemetery and is listed as born Feb. 12, 1914, died August 27, 1918, so she died as an infant.

[2] John Norman Johnson is also buried there and listed as born October 19, 1905, died August 22, 1979.  He is listed as husband of Queenie Mae Bowles, and son of John Andrew and Cassie Johnson.
