LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF HILLARY E. JOHNSON

Last Will and Testament

Of Hillary E. Johnson, deceased 

I Hillary E. Johnson, of Saint Mary's County, Maryland, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make this my last will and testament, revoking all other wills and codicils by me heretofore made, in manner following, that is to say: 

After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, I give, devise and bequeath my estate as follows: 

1. I give, devise and bequeath until my beloved wife, Ann Maria Johnson, all the rest and residue of my property, real and personal, of every kind and wheresoever situated, for an during her natural life, with the full use and enjoyment of all the personal property, without any responsibility for waste, or the consumption of said personalty during the period of her natural life. 

2. Afrer the death my my said wife, Ann Maria Johnson, I give devise and bequeath unto my two sons, Benjamin Johnson and Ernest Johnson, my home place situated in the Sixth Election District of Saint Mary's County, called "Locust Grove," containing one hundred and sixty acres, more or less; the said Benjamin Johnson and Ernest Johnson are to pay however, to my son Andrew Johnson the sum of Two hundred dollars, to my daughter Lucy Long the sum of Two hundred dollars and to my daughter Ella Wathen the sum of One hundred and fifty dollars, which said amount I make a charge upon the real estate above mentioned and devised to the said Benjamin Johnson and Ernest Johnson. 

3. I give, devise and bequeath until my said sons Benjamin Johnson and Ernest Johnson all the personal property that may be remaining on my said home farm called "Locust Grove" after the death of my said wife, together with all the rest and residue of my property of every kind and wheresoever situated. 

4. Because I think and believe that I have already given to my other children namely; I. Stanley Johnson, Nannie Long, Daniel P. Johnson and Frank Johnson a fair and just proportion of my estate, I do not give them anything in this Will. 

5. I constitute and appoint my two sons I. Stanley Johnson and Daniel P. Johnson to be the executors of my Last Will and Testament. 

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord Nineteen hundred and thirteen.
