John Sothoron Evans, son of
E.R. Evans & Mary Priscilla Johnson
was born in February of 1848 in St. Mary's County, Maryland.
He died there on January 19, 1921. He married once, to Sarah
Stone on December 31, 1872.
According to the 1910 census he was a general farmer and living next
door to his son George Webster Evans.
