William H. Johnson, son
of Henry Johnson and Susanna Herbert,
was born 1841/42. Ms. Cryer notes that in 1860 Mary Emily Johnson,
age 22, and William H. Johnson, age 19, comprised one household in
the Chaptico District. He was the administrator of the will of his
brother Charles L. Johnson's estate. There was a Pvt. William
Johnson in the 1st MD Cavalry, Company E, under Sgt. Maj.
Edward Johnson during the Civil War. Seems to suggest a tie in. |
