Edward Johnson, son of
Joseph Johnson and Mary E. Yates, was
born in April of 1832. He was a farmer living alone at Leonardtown,
MD in 1860. Ms. Cryer notes that in the Civil War there was a Pvt.
Edward Johnson in the 1st MD Cavalry, Company A, under
Sgt. Maj. Edward Johnson who also had a Master Sgt. Edward Johnson
! If any of these were this Edward Johnson, Ms. Cryer notes, we do
